With its participation at COP28, the Zayed International Foundation reinforces its status as a proactive and influential player in raising awareness on climate challenges and solutions

The Zayed International Foundation for the Environment made an impactful presence at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Dubai, UAE, where it joined nations around the globe in galvanizing action in addressing major global climate challenges.

Delivering on its commitment to raise awareness on climate challenges and solutions, and in setting new and positive milestones in sustainability, the Zayed International Foundation hosted two sessions on Friday, December 8, at Expo City Dubai.

At the 'Leadership Engagement' session hosted at the UAE Pavilion in the Blue Zone, Prof.Mohammad Ahmed Bin Fahad, Chairman of the Zayed International Foundation for the Environment, reinforced the Foundation's determination to be part of the climate solutions and its commitment to driving action on the ground by supporting international efforts to realise the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. In his address, Dr. Hamdan K. Al Shaer, Member of the Higher Committee, Zayed International Foundation for the Environment, elucidated the environmental leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his enduring legacy that has paved the way for sustainable development and future prosperity of the UAE.

At the House of Sustainability - Actionists Hub (Green Zone), the Foundation hosted the Seventh Generation Wisdoming Cafe led by Dr. Charles Savage, President and Mentor, Knowledge Era Enterprising (KEE) International, and a Professor of Business and Sustainability, and Jan Artem Henriksson, Executive Director of Inner Development Goals Initiative, and co-founder of Self Leaders, Relate & MindShift, the Seventh Generation Wisdoming Cafe, follows from the first 'World Cafe' held under the slogan, Wisdom Fuelling the Future!' at the Dubai Police Academy in January 2023.
